When will my copy of The Economist arrive?
Will I have access to premium content at Economist.com if I subscribe to the magazine? How do I contact The Economist with questions regarding my subscription? How do I order back issues of The Economist?
Individual Subscriptions:
Our aim is for subscribers to receive their copies by Monday. If delivery of your weekly issue is inconsistent, please contact us at customerhelp@economist.com with the following specific details:
Group Subscriptions:
Orders placed after the Monday, 5:00 PM EST, deadline should allow two weeks for delivery of the first issue. Copies will ship on the following Friday via UPS for Monday morning delivery. For all questions regarding delivery of your Group Subscription, please contact academic@economist.com with the following specific details:
Orders not delivered can be tracked and reshipped if lost by UPS.
Economist.com is available free to everyone. But as a paid subscriber to the print edition of The Economist, you are also entitled to unlimited access to Economist.com including FREE, FULL access to over 28,000 archived Economist articles, dating back to 1997. To obtain free access to these articles, you will need an online benefits Authorization Code and to follow these steps: Individual Subscribers: As a subscriber to The Economist, you are entitled to unlimited access to Economist.com. In order to gain full access, you will need to register on Economist.com and enter your customer reference number which is printed on the address label of your magazine. In the meantime, you can gain temporary access to archived articles by clicking here and following the prompts. Once you receive your magazine simply log back on the site, click "My Account" followed by "Access premuim content", and enter your subscription account number. Group Subscribers: All paid subscribers are entitled to unlimited access on Economist.com. Professors will receive online Authorization Codes and accompanying instructions for themselves and their students via email 2-3 days after submitting order. In the meantime, subscribers can gain temporary access to archived articles by clicking here and following the prompts. All online Authorization Codes are valid through the term of the subscription ordered.
